Morocco stocks higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.01%
Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Forestry & Paper and Beverage sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Afric Industries Sa (CS:AFIND), which rose 5.76% or 16.50 points to trade at 303.00 at the close. Meanwhile, BMCI (CS:BMCI) added 4.38% or 26 points to end at 620 and Snep (CS:SNP) was up 3.06% or 11.00 points to 370.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Taslif (CS:TSF1), which fell 5.86% or 1.60 points to trade at 25.70 at the close. IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) declined 4.26% or 4.00 points to end at 90.00 and Micro Data SA (CS:MIC) was down 3.98% or 8.50 points to 205.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 18 to 17 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.02% or 0.51 to $49.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.41% or 0.74 to hit $51.90 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.37 to trade at $1262.73 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.04% to 10.9230, while USD/MAD fell 0.03% to 9.7750.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 97.28.
